Going on the Barcelona Highlights tour later today. Questions:
1. Where does the word "Gowdy" come from? Why, how, when?
2. If you kid to come up with a list of things to see in Barcelona in a day, what would it be?
3. I'm still waiting on the recommendation for a dinner restaurant (preferably on the beach) near my hotel, with a map - since I'm bad with directions.

Kids, I go to the German consulate to get the Schengen Visa. Last friday, the Netherlands consulate delayed by trip by asking for some documents - hotel stay proof, copies of credit card, etc. - so I figured it will be easier to go in person to the German embassy (since Netherlands embassy does not accept visitors) if I still want to make this trip. I will know tomorrow if I have this visa, and I do - I am off to Barcelona the same night.
Now, here's a quiz:
1. What is a schengen visa?
2. How is it that I can apply for a visa to go to Spain through the German or Netherlands consulate?
3. Why am I using the terms embassy and consulate interchangably? Whats the difference?
I hope Tushnaa has taught you guys how to host pictures online - I am looking for a lot of visual answers!
